Terms of Service

January 1, 2026 • Effective for all Nora AI Senior-Care Companion users

Not for Emergency Medical UseNora AI is an intelligent care navigation and companion platform. Nora does not diagnose illnesses, prescribe medications, or replace emergency medical professionals. If you or a loved one is experiencing a medical emergency, please dial 911 or contact your local emergency response service immediately.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, registering for, or using Nora AI ("the Service", "we", "our", or "us"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are accepting these terms on behalf of a senior family member or patient as a legal guardian or designated caregiver, you affirm that you possess the legal authority to bind that individual.

2. Care Navigation & Companion Scope

Nora AI provides personalized senior care coordination, verified local care provider recommendations (e.g. assisted living, medical transportation, home equipment), medication scheduling aids, and conversational companionship.

Nora provides navigational directory information and care insights, but does not employ the third-party care providers listed.
Care decisions, contracts, and medical consultations remain strictly between the user, their family, and licensed healthcare practitioners.
You should always verify availability, certifications, and insurance coverage directly with recommended providers.

3. User Accounts & Family Access

To access personalized chat sessions, saved provider directories, and medication reminders, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to maintain the security of your login credentials. Family caregivers authorized on a subscription may monitor care alerts and summaries in accordance with shared account preferences.

4. Subscriptions, Billing & Cancellation

Certain features of Nora AI are billed on a recurring monthly or annual subscription basis. By purchasing a subscription tier (such as Care Plus or Family Concierge), you authorize us to charge your designated payment method (e.g. PayPal or credit card) automatically at the start of each billing cycle. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Account Settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access through the conclusion of your current paid billing period.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use Nora AI only for lawful senior-care, personal navigation, and caregiver assistance purposes. You must not:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or AI proprietary algorithms.
Use the platform to transmit unlawful, defamatory, abusive, or fraudulent content.
Impersonate any healthcare coordinator, medical professional, or other individual without authorization.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Nora AI, its affiliates, directors, and AI model licensors shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from user care decisions, third-party provider performance, or reliance on AI conversational suggestions.
