1. Information We Collect

To offer tailored care recommendations and maintain your senior profile, we collect the following categories of data:

Account Credentials: Full name, email address, password hash, and optional family emergency contact information.
Conversational & Care Inputs: Messages and voice transcripts exchanged with Nora regarding senior mobility, care questions, or daily routines.
Location Data (Optional): Approximate or precise postal zip/coordinates you explicitly choose to share during onboarding, solely to locate nearby clinics and senior services.
Saved Providers & Favorites: Verified care agencies, assisted living homes, or transportation services you save for quick reference.

2. How We Use Your Information

We utilize your data exclusively to:

Provide empathetic, context-aware AI care navigation and conversational support.
Filter and rank local senior-care facilities and home healthcare providers based on proximity and stated needs.
Send scheduled medication alerts, wellness check-in summaries, and subscription receipts.
Continuously improve system accuracy, accessibility, and platform reliability.

3. Data Security & Infrastructure

Your data is housed within secure Microsoft Azure Database for PostgreSQL instances protected by Virtual Networks, SSL/TLS encryption in transit, and AES-256 encryption at rest. Multi-factor authentication (2FA) is enforced across administrative portals to prevent unauthorized access.

4. Sharing With Third Parties

We only share information with trusted operational service providers who are strictly bound by confidentiality obligations:

Payment Processors (PayPal / Stripe): Securely process subscription renewals without storing credit card details on our servers.
Cloud AI Infrastructure (Microsoft Azure OpenAI): Process conversational prompts in isolated enterprise environments without public model training.
Communication Relays (Azure Communication Services): Transmit transactional alerts, password resets, and care digests.

5. Your Rights & Data Control

As a user or authorized family caregiver, you retain complete sovereignty over your data:

Review & Edit: You can inspect and update your profile details at any time in Settings.
Data Export: Request a complete JSON copy of your conversational history and saved providers.
Right to Deletion: You may permanently delete your account and associated records by emailing our privacy team or using the in-app account removal option.
